Mario, don't eat that cheese!

Eat Me Daily had a nice little feature on a food/art exhibition at The Brooklyn Museum.

I showed this picture to The Missus and she said, "What's in there, Polaroid cameras and Ken dolls?"

"Mario Batali catching on his cracker melting cheese from molded heads hanging from the ceiling." Uh, hells (sic) no. That's just not sanitary, Ginger. So, just what was in the pinata?

Apparently, "(Hostess) Snowballs, Yodels and pink balloons." Here is Part 2 of the feature, with more detail about the exhibitions and their creators.

Laura,

You should stick for him, he's a paisano, through and through. The man is a brilliant chef when it comes to true Italian cuisine, though the Crocs and the red hair irk me.

Yes, yes.. he IS eye-talian, true. :P
I should be all over him .
I saw him on a show once and I kind of got the impression that he was miserable. Plus he's always huffing and puffing. I don't like people that breath loudly.
I guess that's all my bitching for today. :)

Laura,

As far as his miserable countenance at the show, maybe he overscheduled. If he was huffing and puffing, he needs to trim at least thirty pounds. It's hard for chefs to stay healthy though, either they overeat, overdrink or smoke.
